On aging

I remember the first time I felt 'old'. It was actually when I bore my only child, Andi. I remember a flurry of emotions: a hangover from pregnancy induced hormone imbalance, and a feeling of being destined for something bigger than I am.

Motherhood is a noble lifelong mission: for one's child, and for oneself. And my first encounter with it was also the time I truly felt that I have aged. It is an eye opener of sorts.

For me, aging is good. I associate aging with having a greater purpose in life.
